Realme Narzo 60 Pro Challengers: OnePlus Nord CE 3, Google Pixel 6a, More

Realme Narzo 60 Pro price starts at Rs 23,999.

Realme has boosted its mid-segment phone portfolio by adding the Narzo 60 and Narzo 60 Pro to its lineup. Both phones sport similar stylish looks with vegan leather-textured backs and large circular camera units, following the design template of the Realme 11 Pro. The Narzo 60 comes with a lower price tag, but it is the Realme Narzo 60 Pro that has the hardware muscle to go with those rather stylish looks.

Realme Narzo 60 Pro Price, Specifications

The Narzo 60 Pro comes with a large 6.7-inch curved AMOLED FHD+ display with 120z refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor and comes with not only 8GB and 12GB of RAM variants but is also the first smartphone in its segment to have a massive 1TB storage variant, making it a memorable memory beast. As if this were not impressive enough, the phone also comes with a 100-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) (accompanied by a 2-megapixel snapper on the back) and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging. All of this makes it quite a mid-segment contender, with its starting price of Rs 23,999 (the 12GB + 1TB variant is priced at Rs 29,999).

But though it does carry a lot of spec and style weight, the Realme Narzo 60 Pro faces a fair amount of competition in its price segment. If you are considering investing around Rs 25,000 in a smartphone, the Narzo 60 Pro is definitely a contender, but we really think you should be checking out these devices as well:

OnePlus Nord CE 3: A Challenger To The Core (Experience)Realme Narzo 60 Pro Challengers: OnePlus Nord CE 3, Google Pixel 6a, More

Price: Rs 26,999

It will be up for purchase in August, but OnePlus Nord CE 3 is already casting a shadow on the prospects of all phones in the Rs 25,000 zone. The phone might belong to the basic 'core experience' (CE) range of OnePlus, but comes with specs that are well beyond that basic tag.

It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G processor, a successor to the impressive Snapdragon 778G, and which is seen as superior to the Dimensity 7050 on the Narzo 60 Pro. The Nord CE 3 also comes with a large 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. And while its 50-megapixel main sensor has half the megapixels of the Narzo 60 Pro, it is the same Sony IMX890 sensor that is featured on the highly acclaimed OnePlus 11.

You also get a big 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging and of course that super clean OxygenOS interface. The sort of proposition that might tempt people to ‘Never Settle’ for a Narzo.

Google Pixel 6a: Still A Contender Realme Narzo 60 Pro Challengers: OnePlus Nord CE 3, Google Pixel 6a, More

Price: Rs 27,999

It is not the latest nor the greatest Pixel, but it is by far the most affordable one, thanks to a number of price cuts. At its current price of Rs 27,999, the Pixel 6a lurks close to the Narzo 60 Pro.

Spec hunters might sneer at its modest seeming 6.1-inch FHD display with a 'regular' 60 Hz refresh rate, at the megapixel count of its dual cameras (12.2 and 12), and its smaller battery, but those numbers do not tell the whole story of the Pixel 6a.

The phone has that typical Pixel design with a camera bar at the back, and that seemingly small display is actually quite good for watching content. The 12.2-megapixel and 12-megapixel cameras on the back come infused with Google's computational photography magic and can pretty much blow away most of the competition in the segment in terms of clarity and detail.

Since this is a Pixel, you are assured of getting not just the cleanest Android interface around but also the assurance of getting new versions and security updates before the phones of other brands. There is no charger in the box, but the 4,410mAh battery will easily last a day of hefty usage.

Most important of all, the Pixel 6a comes with Google's own Tensor chip (similar to the ones seen on the Pixel 6 flagships), which may not be a gaming beast but enables users to access a number of features that are unlikely to be seen on other phones.

Realme 11 Pro: Attack Of The Clone Realme Narzo 60 Pro Challengers: OnePlus Nord CE 3, Google Pixel 6a, More

Price: Rs 24,999

There is a school of thought that insists that the Narzo series is basically a rebranded version of other Realme phones. And phones like the Realme 11 Pro make one believe that. The Realme 11 Pro is an almost carbon copy of the  Narzo 60 Pro.

It too comes with that spherical camera unit on the back that has a vegan leather texture. You also get a 6.7-inch curved FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a highly rated 100-megapixel main sensor with OIS, with a more humble 2-megapixel sensor on the back.

The processor is the same MediaTek Dimensity 7050 one, and there is also a 5,000mAh battery, with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging.

In fact, the only major differences between the two handsets are perhaps the availability of a 1TB storage version for the Narzo 60 Pro and the fact that the Narzo 60 Pro starts at a slightly lower price.

iQoo Neo 7: One For The GamersRealme Narzo 60 Pro Challengers: OnePlus Nord CE 3, Google Pixel 6a, More

Price: Rs 28,999

The iQoo Neo 7 was the first smartphone in the Indian market to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, which made it a bit of a gaming beast in the mid-segment. It definitely has the edge over the Narzo 60 Pro in terms of processor power, and although it does not have a 1TB storage variant, its 12GB + 256GB variant delivers some seriously good gaming performance, with stereo speakers for a more immersive experience.

The phone also runs the Narzo 60 Pro close in the style stakes with a very classy shiny back and a square-ish camera unit. It comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a 64-megapixel main sensor with OIS capable of taking some good snaps.
However, please note that the dual 2-megapixel secondary sensors are not as impressive.

A 5,000mAh battery keeps the phone ticking for comfortably past a day while a 120W charger with Flash Charge support tops it up in next to no time. The FunTouch UI on the phone might be a little too cluttered for some, but in terms of design and specs, this iQoo challenges the new Narzo a fair bit.

Redmi Note 12 Pro: A Note-Worthy All RounderRealme Narzo 60 Pro Challengers: OnePlus Nord CE 3, Google Pixel 6a, More

Price: Rs 23,999

It does not have the classy style or the hefty megapixels of the Narzo 60 Pro, but the Redmi Note 12 Pro is still the phone to get for many. This is because, in the best Redmi Note tradition, it ticks most boxes, and is a superb all-around device.

It comes with a very capable 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a bright and vibrant 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. Its Dimensity 1080 processor is as capable as the Dimensity 7050 on the Narzo 60 Pro, and there is plenty of RAM around,  although there is no 1TB storage capacity.

Its large 5,000mAh battery onboard sees off a day and a half of heavy use and the accompanying 67W charger might not sound impressive in number terms, but still charges the phone in well under an hour.

Round that off with Xiaomi's feature-rich MIUI interface that runs very smoothly on the phone and excellent dual speakers and you have a quietly understated all rounder that does everything well. It won't turn heads like the Narzo 60 Pro does, but it will work just as well.
