Realme 12 Pro Series China Launch Date Confirmed, Realme 12+ 5G May Might Join Alongside

Realme launched the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ models globally last month and the Chinese division of the company said that the 12 Pro series will be launched in China in February. Realme on Monday officially confirmed that the series will break cover at 2 pm (local time) on February 27 in China. The Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ intended for the Chinese market are anticipated to share identical specifications with their global counterparts.

Both smartphones feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED curved-edge display, delivering FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Additionally, both devices are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 67W fast charging.

In the global market, the Realme 12 Pro series is available with configurations of up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. The Pro variant boasts a 16-megapixel front camera, while its rear panel houses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.

Contrastingly, the Realme 12 Pro+ features a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front-facing camera. On its back panel, the device is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel Ov64 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Both models run on Realme UI 5 based on Android 14.

Realme has initiated the teaser campaign for the upcoming Realme 12+ 5G smartphone in India. The official launch date for this device has been confirmed for February 29 in Malaysia. Given that the specifications of the device have already surfaced through its TENAA certification in China, there is a likelihood that it will be unveiled alongside the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ on February 27 in China. The Realme 12+ is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz flat display, be powered by a Dimensity 7050 chipset, come with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging, sport a 16-megapixel front camera, and house a triple camera system on the back comprising a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel configuration.
