The company's first-ever tablet, the Poco Pad 5G, is slated for launch on August 23 in India. This follows its global debut in May. The Poco Pad 5G will be available exclusively through Flipkart, the Walmart-owned e-commerce platform. Flipkart has already listed the tablet, suggest its imminent launch. Leaks and rumours suggest that the Indian variant will closely match its global counterpart in specifications.

Poco Pad 5G Display, Specs And Features

At the heart of the Poco Pad 5G is a 12.1-inch LCD screen. With a 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support, users can expect a visual feast. The 2.5K resolution ensures crisp, vibrant images for all content. Powering this device is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, promising swift performance for various tasks.

Poco also posted on X, formerly Twitter, and officially teased the upcoming tablet.

The tablet would have a sleek metal body for a premium touch while ensuring durability. Running on HyperOS-based Android 14, the Poco Pad 5G guarantees a modern user experience with regular updates. With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, multitasking and file management should be a breeze. For those needing extra space, a microSD card slot offers expandable storage options.

A massive 10,000mAh battery keeps the Poco Pad 5G running for extended periods. The 33W fast charging support ensures quick power-ups when needed. Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the Dolby Atmos support, delivering rich, immersive sound. As its name suggests, the tablet supports 5G connectivity.
