OnePlus And Oppo May Soon Bring Phones With Whopping 24GB Of RAM
Tech behemoth BBK electronics-owned smartphone OEMs OnePlus and Oppo could soon launch bring handsets with a whopping 24GB of memory.
In what may become a new benchmark for flagship smartphones, OnePlus and Oppo are likely to introduce smartphones with memory bigger than most laptops. Tech behemoth BBK electronics-owned smartphone OEMs OnePlus and Oppo could soon launch bring handsets with a whopping 24GB of memory. According to famed leakster Digital Chat Station, "Oga group" (through Google Translate) has started to work on devices with 24GB of RAM.
It is being said that the "Oga" group may be BBK-owned handset makers OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, Realme and iQoo. However, there is no clarity as to when the handsets with 24GB of RAM would be introduced in the market. These smartphones would come with 16GB of RAM for the base model and 24GB of RAM would be reserved for the top-end model, Digital Chat Station added.

It should be noted that flagship devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with 12GB of RAM while the OnePlus 11 has 16GB of RAM. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro on the other hand features 6GB of RAM.
Meanwhile, OnePlus has officially revealed the first look of the OnePlus Nord 3 5G smartphone ahead of its launch next month. The handset maker has revealed the first look of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 5G, showing off the back panel design of the smartphone ahead of its global unveiling alongside several products including, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r and OnePlus BWZ2 ANC on July 5, 2023.

Earlier this month, a report said that China's tech behemoth BBK Electronics has decided to make handset makers OnePlus, Oppo and Realme separate entities in India, in an attempt to de-risk its India business. As per an Economic Times report, The three smartphone OEMs will have sales accounted for in their own books. Previously, Oppo Mobiles India was handling the distribution and sales of all three handset makers.
