OnePlus Nord lineup will be refreshed with the OnePlus Nord 2T in India in July, weeks after the recent global unveiling of the smartphone. The OnePlus Nord 2T takes the beloved flagship essentials of the OnePlus Nord 2 and upgrades them in ways to bring an elevated experience to users, the smartphone company claimed on Monday. It should be noted that the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2T will mark the first addition to the main OnePlus Nord number series after the launch of the OnePlus Nord 2 in July 2021.

The OnePlus Nord 2T packs the 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging that debuted on the OnePlus 10 Pro and it is powered by an upgraded MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset. Other features include an AI-enhanced camera, along with OxygenOS 12.1 that promises to deliver a faster and smoother experience. The much-anticipated addition to the number series of the Nord portfolio will be soon available for sale in India, the company said in a statement.

Earlier in the year, the OnePlus Nord series saw additions like the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G to its core series smartphones.

If the OnePlus Nord 2T comes with the same specifications as the global model, the device will come with a 6.43-inch 20:9 AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The global variant of Nord 2T comes in two variants: 8GB/128GB and 256GB/12GB.

Apart from this, in terms of imaging, the global variant of the OnePlus Nord 2T features a triple camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Other sensors include an under-display optical fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and a compass.
