Apple iPhone 11 May Be Discontinued After Launch of iPhone 14 Series
Apple is likely to discontinue the popular iPhone 11 after the launch of the iPhone 14 line this fall.
New Delhi: Apple is likely to discontinue the popular iPhone 11 after the launch of the iPhone 14 line this fall. This is because the iPhone 11 is more popular than the recently launched iPhone SE (2022) and has been taking away sales from the latter, according to a report by a publication named iDropnews.
The report added, citing sources that it is highly unlikely that Apple will continue to sell the iPhone 11 as it is somewhat old and competes directly with the new iPhone SE, which Apple "doesn’t like". The Apple iPhone 12 line would also see a further drop in prices after the launch of the iPhone 14 line this fall, the report added.
