Election Delhi 2025: CEC Rajiv Kumar Urges Citizens To Report Election Malpractices On cVigil App, Here's How You Can Do It

Election Delhi 2025: You can file complaints regarding violations of the moral code of conduct without revealing your identity.

Election Delhi 2025: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar on Tuesday announced the polling date for Delhiites. As elections appear round the corner, the Moral Code of Conduct (MCC) kicks in. There have been a number of cases in the history when people have violated the MCC. In order to tackle this more efficiently, the Election Commission of India has leveraged technology to seek voters' help in case they witness someone violating the moral code of conduct.

An app named cVigil is here to help voters if they come across an instance where someone is trying to violate the moral code of conduct. ECI made voters aware about this on X and wrote, " #TechPowered Elections! #cVigil - Report mcc violations. #Suvidha Portal - Facilitating political parties and candidates for campaign related permission. #VoterHelplineApp - Easing search for electoral information."
