Turns out, when it comes to real intelligence, Apple might still be in beta. A viral Instagram Reel is doing the rounds, and it doesn’t paint a pretty picture for Cupertino’s latest pride and joy — Apple Intelligence. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Posted by user custom-adventurist, the video pits Apple’s shiny new AI against Samsung’s seasoned Galaxy AI in a simple challenge: edit Steve Jobs’ hand out of a photo. Sounds easy enough — unless you're Apple. Despite multiple tries, Apple Intelligence struggles hard to replace the hand with a coherent face. What users got instead was something between a Picasso fever dream and a “Last Of Us” Clicker.

Samsung, on the other hand, needed just one click. One highlight. One instant glow-up. Jobs’ face? Rebuilt. The hand? Gone. The result? Still a bit uncanny — but miles better than whatever cursed imagery Apple spat out.

Limited Intelligence? Apple’s New AI Can’t Seem to Get the Picture

Let’s not forget — Apple Intelligence is still new, currently tiptoeing its way into select iPhones: the iPhone 16 series, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max. And while Apple fans were expecting groundbreaking innovation, what they got in this viral test was more... breakdown.

Samsung’s Galaxy AI, meanwhile, has been around the block. It’s not only more competent — it’s available. Across a wide range of devices, no less: Galaxy S25, S24, S23, and S22, foldables like Z Fold 6 and Flip 5, and even budget champs like the A35 5G. Basically, if it says “Galaxy,” it probably has AI that actually works.

Android’s AI Game Is Already Miles Ahead

And it’s not just Samsung. Realme, Vivo, Oppo — yes, the brands ardent Apple fans love to mock — are serving up solid AI tools in even mid-range phones. Google’s Pixel line, of course, continues to show everyone how it’s done with native AI tools built right into its clean, no-nonsense Android.
