UP Assembly Election 2022: After propagating their vision in the city of Lord Ram (Ayodhya), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is now moving on to the city of Lord Krishna. Just ahead of the UP Assembly Elections 2022, Mayawati's party is holding conventions (Brahmin Sammelan) for the Brahmin community these days.
While the first phase of this conference started from Ayodhya, the second phase has now been announced to start from Vrindavan, the city of Lord Krishna. Bahujan Samaj Party today organized a Brahmin conference in Sangam city, Prayagraj, and tried to connect with the Brahmin section of the society.
On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP and the party's National General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra announced programs of the second phase of the conference. He told that the second phase of the conference will start on August 1 in Vrindavan, Mathura. Before the start of the conference, Satish Mishra will also offer prayers at the famous Krishna Temple - Banke Bihari.
He alleged that the BJP and SP governments did nothing for the development of Lord Krishna's city Vrindavan and Mathura and always neglected, while the BSP governments in past have developed places associated with Lord Krishna.
BJP 'Furious' With BSP's Brahmin Convention
In the Brahmin convention held in Prayagraj, Satish Chandra Mishra targeted the Samajwadi Party along with the BJP and termed both as anti-Brahmin. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has been stunned by the Brahmin convention of BSP and at the same time the Samajwadi Party, who have always exploited and harassed this section, is now reminded of Brahmins.
In Prayagraj, about 40 km from the city, Satish Chandra Mishra in the Brahmin conference held in the Saidabad area targeted the UP government on the pretext of the famous Bikru incident of Kanpur that the Brahmin section was deliberately targeted only on pressure.
UP Elections 2022: After BSP, Now SP Aims To Woo Brahmin Voters By Conducting 'Prabuddh Sammelans'
On this occasion, Satish Mishra also took a dig at Brahmin leader Jitin Prasad, who left Congress and joined BJP, and said that, while in opposition, he also used to accuse Brahmins of oppression, but now he himself is sitting in the lap of oppressors.
In this conference, Satish Mishra tried to describe his party BSP and its chief Mayawati as the biggest sympathizer of Brahmins and assured that if BSP comes to power, Brahmin society will not only be given a respectable share but their honour and self-respect will be protected.
He also took a dig at the BJP on the pretext of a temple under construction of Lord Ram in Ayodhya and Mother Sita. He alleged that the BJP, which sought votes in the name of Lord Ram, refrained from taking the name of Mother Sita. However, he also clarified that the Bahujan Samaj Party, which organizes a convention of Brahmins, is not only a party of Brahmins or Dalits but of the whole society.
