Coronavirus Protocols: Wearing Masks Mandatory In Noida — Check Detailed Guidelines

In response to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, the Gautam Buddha Nagar administration has decided to make wearing masks mandatory in public places. According to an order issued by the administration, wearing masks in public places will now be mandatory in Noida and other parts of the Gautam Buddha Nagar district. This move is aimed at curbing the spread of the virus and protecting the health and well-being of the citizens.

Guidelines For Malls/Cinema Halls In Noida

  • Compliance with COVID-19 guidelines should be ensured in malls, multiplexes, and cinema halls.
  • Social distancing must be strictly followed, and wearing masks should be mandatory.
  • Thermal scanning arrangements should be put in place at all entrances.
  • Customers should wear masks and gloves while shopping.
  • High-touch surfaces such as escalators, doors, railings, elevators, and parking areas should be sanitized regularly.

Covid Guidelines For School And Colleges In Noida

  • Students, teachers, and staff members must wear masks and comply with social distancing norms while inside the school/college premises.
  • Adequate physical distancing should be maintained between students in classrooms and common areas.
  • Thermal scanning arrangements should be put in place at the entrance of schools/colleges to screen students, teachers, and staff members for COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Arrangements for handwashing soap and water or hand sanitiser should be made available in schools/colleges.
  • High-touch surfaces such as doors, railings, swings, etc. should be sanitized regularly.
  • If any student has symptoms like cough, cold, fever, etc., they should not be sent to school/college and should receive treatment after consulting with a doctor.

Directions For Railway And Bus Stations

  • Compliance with COVID-19 protocols, thermal scanning, and investigations should be ensured at railway stations, bus stations, airports, and related facilities.
  • Social distancing must be strictly followed, and wearing masks should be mandatory.
  • In the waiting areas, arrangements should be made for passengers to sit on chairs with sufficient space between them.
  • The waiting area should be sanitized at regular intervals to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • High-touch surfaces such as escalators, doors, railings, lifts, parking areas, etc. should be sanitized from time to time.
  • Adherence to social distancing norms should be maintained in queues at ticket counters and during bus/train boarding/alighting.
