On Cam: Actor Nagarjuna's Convention Centre Bulldozed By Authorities In Hyderabad
The convention hall, reportedly owned by Telugu actor Nagarjuna, is alleged to have been constructed on encroached land, specifically on the full tank level (FTL) of the Thammidi Kunta Cheruvu.
The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA) started the demolition of the N-Convention Centre in Madhapur on Friday. The convention hall, reportedly owned by renowned Telugu actor Nagarjuna, is alleged to have been constructed on encroached land, specifically on the full tank level (FTL) of the Thammidi Kunta Cheruvu, a local water body.
HYDRA officials, supported by a large police presence, initiated the demolition early in the morning at the site near Shilparamam in Rangareddy district. The action follows allegations that the N-Convention Centre was built on land within the FTL zone, violating regulations intended to protect water bodies and prevent illegal encroachments.
