Nuh Violence: Congress MLA Mamman Khan Called For Questioning, Says Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij

Nuh Violence News: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has reiterated his claim that the probe so far has found that Congress is responsible for the violent clashes that took place in Nuh last month.

Nuh Violence: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij has claimed that, so far, a probe into the incidents of violence in Nuh district last month shows that Congress is responsible for the same. He alleged that evidence is there against Congress MLA Mamman Khan which suggests he visited the areas where violence took place. This comes a day after he accused the Congress of "orchestrating" the communal violence in Nuh district on July 31. On Tuesday, Vij said that Khan has been summoned by the police for interrogation on August 30, adding that other assailants were also found to be having some kind of connection with the grand old party.

The state home minister said that over 500 persons have been arrested while around 130-140 FIRs have been registered in the Nuh violence case. He said that Khan was in regular touch with people at places where arson and clashes happened and that he was there either on July 28, 29, or 30.

"In the initial investigation, we have arrested approximately 510 people and we have registered 130-140 FIRs. After their interrogation, the conclusion that we are getting for now is that it looks like this has been done by Congress. In this Congress's MLA Mamman Khan has also been called for interrogation by police on August 30..," he told the media.

"Mamman Khan has visited those areas where violence took place. There are many angles coming up. We are doing a fair investigation and we will show to the people who were the mastermind," Vij further added.
