Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan filed a nomination on Monday for the upcoming State Assembly Elections 2023 from the Budhni constituency. The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) issued the sixth list of candidates on Sunday and with that list, it has fielded candidates in all 230 constituencies of the state.

National General Secretary of BJP, Kailash Vijayvargiya, filed his nomination from the Indore-1 constituency. After filing his nomination, he told news agency ANI, "Not only this, we will win all 9 seats in Indore. We will form the Government in Madhya Pradesh with a 2/3rd majority; we will win more than 160 seats. There is an undercurrent of development by the BJP in Madhya Pradesh and trust in the leadership of PM Modi. The PM and BJP do what they say. The development works done by the double-engine government in Madhya Pradesh can be clearly seen...So people's trust is in BJP and PM Modi."

Earlier Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday took a swipe at the Congress party after the grand old party changed its candidates in four constituencies for the upcoming state assembly elections which are slated to take place on November 17.

Chouhan while reacting to Congress announcing candidates from Sumaoli, Pipariya, Badnagar, and Jaora assembly seats, pointed out at the raging infighting between the grand old party's two main bulwarks Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh. Chohan said that the Congress has become 'Ticket Badal Congress.' While talking to ANI, he said, "Not only Kamal Nath, but his son also distributed the tickets. When people reached Kamal Nath, he said that if you have to tear clothes, then you should tear the clothes of Digvijaya Singh and Jaivardhan Singh... After that, Congress has become 'Ticket Badal Congress'. In many places, tickets have been changed. Congress's condition is weird now. Let's see what happens in the future."
