Chhattisgarh: Naxalites In Dantewada Hurl Threat Letters, Terrorise Villagers

Dantewada News: Once again Naxalites have tried to create panic in Dantewada by throwing threatening letters against leaders in the area. In these letters they have accused leaders of cheating.

Dantewada: Naxalites have once again tried to spread panic in Dantewada in Chhattisgarh. Local leaders in one of the villages of the area have been threatened by Naxalites. The whole case is from Fulpad in the said district. Here the Naxalites have tried to create panic by throwing threatening letters against regional leaders. In these threat letters thrown by the Naxalites, they have accused the local leaders of cheating. They have also been issued threats of death in these letters. In addition, those families who help the police have also been threatened.

Naxalites enter village

According to information received, a large number of Naxalites entered Madhiapara in Fulpad on Friday night. They burst firecrackers in the village and threw threatening letters in the name of 5 regional leaders of the village. At the same time, punishment to these people by setting up the public court is also written about in these letters.

What is written in these threat letters?

In the letters thrown by Naxalites, they have expressed displeasure over youths joining the police force. At the same time, leaders helping in this regard have also been threatened. It is written in the letter that people want a job in police and not water-jungle-land. A bomb is going to explode in your homes tomorrow. You people don't know about it. Will give death punishment to informers who support the enemy.

Naxalites are furious - Police

As soon as the administration came to know about the incident, a team from Dantewada DRG reached the village. However, by then the Naxalites fled the village. Dantewada SP Abhishek Pallava said that the Naxalites are gradually losing out on their mass base in the interior villages. So they are indulging in such activities to create panic amongst villagers.
