'I.N.D.I.A Bloc On Verge Of Collapse,' JDU's KC Tyagi Slams Congress, Says It 'Repeatedly Insulted' Nitish Kumar

Tyagi took a swipe at the Congress and said that Nitish Kumar never hankered after a position in the I.N.D.I.A bloc but a section of the grand old party's leadership repeatedly insulted him.

Bihar Political Crisis: In the midst of circulating speculations regarding Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar mulling over a potential exit from the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), K C Tyagi, the political adviser and spokesperson of Janata Dal (United), emphatically indicated on Saturday that the grand alliance in the state is on the verge of collapse. Tyagi also accused a section of the Congress leadership of repeatedly "insulting" Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Speaking ton the reporters, Tyagi said, "the I.N.D.I.A. bloc is on the verge of collapse. The alliance of I.N.D.I.A. bloc parties is almost over in Punjab, West Bengal and Bihar," as quoted by news agency PTI. The goal and intentions with which Kumar, the JD(U) president, succeeded in bringing non-Congress parties with the Congress have come unstuck, he further stated. The JDU leader also emphasised that their leader was "misunderstood".

Tyagi took a swipe at the Congress and said that the Bihar Chief Minister never hankered after a position in the alliance but a section of the Congress leadership repeatedly insulted him. He stated he could not see as to how the I.N.D.I.A. bloc parties could fight the "all-powerful" BJP. "INDIA alliance is on the verge of breaking due to the irresponsible and obstinate attitude of Congress," said, as quoted by ANI.
