The 38-year-old broke Charlotte Edwards' record of 10273 runs in the 24th over while chasing a target of 220 runs in the third ODI against England. Mithali made a new world record by hitting a four off fast bowler Nat Sciver. New Zealand's Suzie Bates is at number three in the list of highest run-scorers with 7849 runs.
