PM Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan congratulate Saina Nehwal on Australian Open win

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated ace shuttler Saina Nehwal for winning the Australian Open Super Series event in Sydney. "Congratulations @NSaina for the stupendous victory. The entire nation is very proud of your sporting accomplishments," Prime Minister Modi took to twitter to congratulate India's No.1 badminton star.     Indian cricket player Shikhar Dhawan and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan also congratulated the player on the social networking platform. "Congratulations @NSaina on your second Australian open title! You make us PROUD!," wrote Dhawan.       Bachchan tweeted:"@NSaina .. you continue to make us proud to be an Indian .. well done ..Champion at Australian Open!!"     The 26-year-old from Hyderabad eked out a 11-21 21-14 21-19 over the World No. 12 Sun Yu in a fighting summit clash that lasted an hour and 11 minutes here.
