Shaheen Afridi Bowls To Shahid Afridi. Watch What Happens Next
Shaheen Afridi is trying hard to attain full fitness ahead of the upcoming season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023. He will captain defending champions Lahore Qalandars in PSL season 8.
Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi, regarded as one of the most explosive batters of all time, hammered soon-to-be son-in-law Shaheen Afridi for a huge six during an intense practice session. The video was posted on Twitter by Cricket Pakistan with the caption: "Age is just a number' with the hashtag #PakistanCricket and #ShahidAfridi." Shaheen Afridi, Pakistan cricket team's key pacer, has been struggling to get back into full rhythm ever since he got injured during the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. He had hurt his knee while attempting to take a catch.

As per several media reports in Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi will marry Shahid Afridi's daughter tonight, February 3, in a traditional Nikkah ceremony in Karachi.
"There were times when I wanted to give up. I was working on only one muscle and it was not improving. Often during the rehabilitation sessions, I used to say to myself 'this is enough, I cannot do this anymore. But then I used to watch my bowling on YouTube and see how well I had done and that motivated me and I told myself 'to push a little more' ... It is frustrating for a fast bowler to miss cricket because of an injury," said Shaheen on YouTube.
The first match of the 8th edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be played between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans. Both these teams were the finalists of the last season.
