Vinesh Phogat Arrival: Indian Women wrestler Vinesh Phogat has landed in Delhi on Saturday, August 17, and upin ger arrival at the IGI Airport, she received a grand welcome, as the likes of Yogeshwar Dutt, Sakshi Malik were present at the airport to welcome the wrestler, who's antics at the recently-concluded Paris Olympics 2024 has made her a fan-favourite.

Vinesh Phogat was in distraught upon learning the fact that she had been disqualified from her Women's Freestyle 50kg final at the Paris Olympics 2024 on technical grounds, as she was found overweight by merely 100 grams. Inspite of all the efforts put in by her overnight to go below the 50kg mark, she ultimately failed, and as per the rule book of International Olympics Committee (IOC) and United World Wrestling (UWW), she was legally disqualified.
The Indian wrestler then challenged the decision in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), but a week-long saga resulted no fruitful for India, as Vinesh Phogat was denied her silver medal, and with that, India's hopes of adding a 7th medal were dashed too.
Upon receiving such a heartwarming reaction and grand welcome, 'Desh ki Beti' could not hold her emotions and acknowledged the love and support from the Indian fans.
