Fire Breaks Out At SRH's Hotel In Hyderabad: Details Inside

A fire broke out on the first floor of a 5-star hotel in Hyderabad, where SRH players are staying. Read below for details.

A fire broke out at the Park Hyatt in Hyderabad this morning, as the five-star hotel was hosting players and staff members of Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have now been safely evacuated, according to reports.

The firefighters reached the spot on time and neutralised the situation. However, the cause of fire still remains a case of mystery.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, who are scheduled to play Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, April 17, are enduring a miserable season, but made a sensational comeback by thrashing Punjab Kings in a historical chase on Saturday.

Their historic chase was powered by an iconic knock from Abishek Sharma, who broke several record with his 141-run knock.

Both, MI and SRH, won on the weekend, thereby, bringing an end to their respective losing streaks, and will be looking to turn around their season, as they languish in the bottom half of the table.

SRH's batting performance has been abysmal this season, with them failing to chase down the targets, and even put on a competitive total on a couple of occasions.

Their bowling too, has been wayward, as the side are heavily searching for consistency. Mohammad Shami has not looked sharp at all, ever since his return from the injury, and the likes of Simarjeet Singh and and Pat Cummins have not been amongst the wickets.

WIth 2 wins and 4 defeats, and a poor Net Run Rate, things are not looking bright for 2024 runners-up, and they really need to up the ante, if they are to avoid an elimination within the group stage.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Squad, IPL 2025
