Ahead of the DC vs RCB WPL 2024 final, Qutub Minar was lit up in Delhi.

The Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 final is all set to get underway between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday (March 17). Before the summit clash of the second edition of WPL, Delhi's iconic Qutub Minar was lit up to mark the occasion. This is the second straight WPL final for DC who had finished runners-up last season after losing to Mumbai Indians (MI) in summit clash.

DC have been the dominant team throughout the season and were the first team to reach the finals. Delhi secured a place in the titular contest by finishing on the top of the table by six wins from eight matches. On the other hand, RCB finished third on the table but beat MI in the Eliminator to proceed to the final.

"Experience the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Qutub Minar transformed like never before as we edge closer to the finals of #TATAWPL!," the WPL's official handle wrote along with the video.

The WPL 2024 Final can also be seen as a contest between the two leading run-scorers of the tournament.
