During the LSG vs MI IPL 2023 eliminator, LSG Pacer Naveen-ul-Haq took the wicket of Rohit Sharma. Moments after taking the wicket of MI’s skipper, Naveen celebrated the wicket by covering his ears, likely to drown out the sounds of the fans who have been shouting “Kohli Kohli” in every LSG game.

Naveen then posted Instagram stories about mangoes whenever the Bangalore side did not perform well in their matches. Talking about the eliminator, LSG lost the match but then Naveen registered a fantastic spell of 4/38 against Mumbai Indians. He picked up crucial wickets of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, and Cameron Green. It was Naveen's effort with the ball that restricted Mumbai Indians to 182/8. In reply, Lucknow Super Giants were bowled out to just 101 runs and lost the game by 81 runs.
