MI Vs KKR: Mumbai Indians have won the toss and opt to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in their IPL 2025 Match 12 fixture on Monday, March 31.

While KKR opened their tally for points in their last game, MI are yet to win this season.

The red soil surface promises plenty of runs, as the likes of Sunil Narine, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav will be licking their lips whenever they go out to bat today.

"We are gonna bowl first. Looks a good track. Playing at Wankhede, dew might come or not come. So, we have decided to chase. There are chances that we might get early swing. There will be something in it for the bowlers. It's a long competition. Definitely, we would like to get into the rhythm and get start. We are excited for this game. If we do the right things, we will get the result."

"We need to play good cricket overall. Calm the nerves down and take the smarter options. If we do that, we will come out on top. Will comes back and we have a debutant in Ashwani."

Ajinkya Rahane (Kolkata Knight Riders Captain):

"We wanted to bowl first as well. I was a little confused looking at the wicket, I feel it is a good toss to lose. We have to bowling who can defend the total. Yes, little grass on the wicket. Sometimes, it is hard to read the wicket. When the breeze is going on, no dew at Wankhede. We got a good bowling attack. We did well in the last well. I feel whatever total we put on the board, we can defend that."
