LSG vs SRH IPL 2023 Fantasy Tips: Which Players Can Fetch Maximum Points
LSG vs SRH: Lucknow have had a bitter-sweet start to the season while Hyderabad are yet to taste a win having played just one match.
Week 2 of the Indian Premier League 2023 will begin with a blockbuster of a clash between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. It has been a bitter sweet start to the competition for Lucknow so far who registered a comprehensive win against Delhi Capitals in their first game but succumbed to a defeat in their second match against Chennai Super Kings.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad have played just one match in the competition so far and ended on the losing side, facing a defeat 72-run thrashing at their home ground against the Rajasthan Royals. However, the Orange Army are set to be strengthened with the availability of their designated captain of the season Aiden Markram who wasn't around to feature in the team's opener.
Having said that, Lucknow's win came at their home ground and while they would want to continue their winning run at that venue, it is important for Hyderabad to taste a win here failing which their wait for their first points on the board would further be extended.
There are a plethora of international stars and emerging talents to choose from if one is entering a Fantasy contest for this IPL fixture and here is a safe 11 that one can bet on based on the recent form and availability of players.
LSG vs SRH Fantasy Team (Low Risk XI)
Wicketkeepers:
Quinton de Kock is likely to return for this match. Although Kyle Mayers was made a makeshift opener with De Kock missing in the first two games now that the Protean cricketer is back, Mayers can't be dropped as he is one of the leading run-getters of the competition at this stage. So both should ideally be picked with someone else forced to make way for the southpaw. From Hyderabad, Glenn Phillips should definitely be considered as he is someone who can take the game away from the opposition in no time.
Batters:
Hyderabad's Mayank Agarwal and Rahul Tripathi are bankable stars especially considering they will have the chance to face more balls. Lucknow's KL Rahul, despite being in poor form, could be given a chance by virtue of being a top-order batter. But one can risk benching him for an additional all-rounder or wicketkeeping option or someone like an Ayush Badoni available at an average of 8.5 credits could be a differential pick in the Fantasy team, given his potential with the bat. Badoni was used an Impact Player last game.
All-rounders:
Mayers simply has to feature in the XI because if Stoinis is left out, he could even be seen bowling in this game. Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Krishanappa Gowtham, Daniel Sams are some of the other all-rounders who can be considered for a place in the Fantasy side.
Bowlers:
Ravi Bishnoi and Mark Wood are the two best bowlers from the tournament so far that will feature in this game. The likes of T Natarajan, Umran Malik and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are some of the other bowling options to choose from.
Pro Tip:
Finalise the Fantasy XI only after the toss and Playing XIs are announced as there could be surprise in store with regards to the team news.
