IPL 2025: RCB Win Toss & Decide To Bowl First Vs DC, Check Playing 11s Inside

DC vs RCB: IPL 2025: Here's a look at the playing 11s for the Delhi Capitals (DC) vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in match no. 46 of the IPL 2025 edition.

DC vs RCB: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and elected to bowl first against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 46th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on April 27 (Sunday) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.

Delhi Capitals have secured six wins and two losses from eight matches in IPL 2025, sitting at No. 2 on the points table. They enter this match following a dominant victory over Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.

On the other hand, RCB also have six wins but have suffered one additional defeat compared to the Capitals. They are placed at No. 3 in the standings. The Rajat Patidar-led team comes into this clash after back-to-back victories over Punjab Kings in Mullanpur and Rajasthan Royals in Bengaluru.

Earlier this season, when these two teams met in Bengaluru, the Capitals successfully chased down a 164-run target with six wickets and 13 balls to spare.

Here's a look at the playing 11s for the DC vs RCB IPL 2025 match.

DC vs RCB IPL 2025 Playing 11s

DC Playing 11:  Faf du Plessis, Abishek Porel, Karun Nair, KL Rahul(w), Axar Patel(c), Tristan Stubbs, Vipraj Nigam, Mitchell Starc, Dushmantha Chameera, Kuldeep Yadav, Mukesh Kumar

RCB Playing 11: Virat Kohli, Jacob Bethell, Rajat Patidar(c), Jitesh Sharma(w), Tim David, Krunal Pandya, Romario Shepherd, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Suyash Sharma, Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal

Here's what the RCB captain Rajat Patidar and DC captain Axar Patel said during the DC vs RCB match toss:

Rajat Patidar: We will bowl first. The wicket is quite good to bat on and I don't think it's going to change too much and we like to chase. It's our first win at our home and we will try to continue playing good cricket. In every match, we are trying to improve, so we want to keep learning. Bethell has come in place of Salt.

Axar Patel: That is an advantage too but if we had won the toss, I think we would have batted only and use the wicket in the second innings. In the last game, there was no dew but in the game against Mumbai, there was some dew. They had two foreign batters so I wanted to bowl against them. I was bowling with a good rhythm, the plan wasn't to bowl four overs in a row but I kept bowling so I continued with it. Faf is back and the impact player we will decide according to the situation.
