IPL 2025 Auction: Full List Of Players Bought, Updated Squads Of All 10 Teams
Rishabh Pant has shattered records to become the most expensive player in IPL auction. A total of 577 players are set to go under the hammer in the mega auction over two days.
IPL 2025 Auction updated squads: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will see 10 teams battling to fill 204 spots from a pool of 577 players. Day 1 will feature 84 players going under the hammer, kicking off an exciting bidding war.
Rishabh Pant has set a new record as the most expensive player in IPL auction history, with Lucknow Super Giants acquiring the wicketkeeper-batter for a staggering INR 27 crore. This came just 20 minutes after Punjab Kings had bought Shreyas Iyer for INR 26.75 crore, breaking the previous record. Sunrisers Hyderabad acquired veteran fast bowler Mohammad Shami for Rs 10 crore. Despite Gujarat Titans having the option to use Right to Match (RTM) card, they chose not to, allowing Hyderabad to acquire Shami.
