Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have experienced a dismal performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, securing only one victory in eight matches thus far. In their recent match, they fell short against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by one run in a thrilling match. After their match against KKR, a few RCB players, including Virat Kohli, received criticism from fans for their recent outing in Kolkata, amidst poor IPL 2024 performances.
A photo on social media of RCB teammates including Virat Kohli, Karn Sharma, Mahipal Lomror, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Anuj Rawat and Suyash Prabhudessai seemingly in the One8 Commune restaurant in Kolkata has gone viral. In case you don't know, One8 Commune is a nation-wide restaurant chain, owned by Virat Kohli himself.
The photo was not well-received by the RCB fans who lost their cool given RCB have been the worst-performing team of the IPL 2024, standing last in the league’s points table. Fans took their frustration out by commenting on the viral picture. One of the fans wrote, “They have no shame in doing all this, when your team has lost 7 out of 8 matches.”
