Talking about the IPL 2023, this season will again witness its home and away format. Teams will be playing matches both at their home ground and away. There will be a total of 74 matches that will take place this year. Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, and Kolkata Knight Riders are the team that will be battling against each other to clinch the IPL 2023 trophy.

The 2023 edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League has also come up with a new rule. BCCI has introduced the ‘Impact Player’ rule in this season where every team on a given day can play 12 players. Earlier, they tried it out in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament in October.

The first match of the league will witness Gujarat Titans taking on the four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on  Friday, March 31.
