IPL 2023 kickstarted with a high-octane match between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday. Hardik Pandya’s men started their campaign by defeating CSK by five wickets to get off to a winning start. Just before the match, a grand opening ceremony took place where stars like Arijit Singh, Tamanna Bhatia, and Rashmika Mandanna graced the stage with their magical performances.

Earlier, when the opening ceremony started, Arijit Singh was the first person who came on the stage and mesmerized the crowd with his soothing voice. He started the proceedings by singing "Lehra Do" and went on to sing 'Kesariya' from the blockbuster movie Bhramastra for fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Talking about the match, CSK’s opener Ruturaj Gaikwad starred with the bat by playing a crucial knock of 92 runs from 50 balls, helping CSK put up a strong total of 178 runs. In reply to that, Gujarat’s Shubman Gill also smashed 63 off 36 balls and helped Gujarat chase down the total with four balls to spare.
