WATCH: Wriddhiman Saha Reveals Why He Wore Trousers Reverse During GT's IPL 2023 Match Vs LSG

GT skipper Hardik Pandya wanted to replace a seemingly injured Saha with KS Bharat for keeping wickets in the second innings but the umpires refused to allow it.

In what turned out to be one of the most hilarious incidents in 2023 season of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Gujarat Titans (GT) star Wriddhiman Saha mistakenly wore his trousers the other way around as he rushed out to keep wickets against Lucknow Super Giants in second innings. Shaha's GT teammates and commentators were left in splits seeing the funny error from the veteran keeper. Notably, GT skipper Hardik Pandya wanted to replace a seemingly injured Saha with KS Bharat for keeping wickets in the second innings but the umpires refused to allow it. The confusion caused panic in the dressing room and Saha, who thought he wouldn't go out to keep wickets early in the innings, wore his trousers in reverse.

In a video posted by official twitter handle of Indian Premier League (IPL), Saha revealed reason behind his funny error.

"I told the umpires that you are having the needling session, but they didn't allow me to keep", KS Bharat said at first.

Saha revealed that he was eating his food when suddenly he got the call that he had to take the field, and in a hurry, he wore his trousers in reverse.

"I was eating my food and the physio said I need to take my medicine too. So I had to wear my pants in a hurry and it was worn the other way around. After two overs I returned and you did a wonderful job", Saha revealed.

Wriddhiman Saha kept wickets for GT for first two overs. He looked in visible discomfort and was later replaced by KS Bharat.
