Sam Curran was the pick of the bowlers for Chennai as he again starred with the vital wickets. RCB and CSK were facing each other for the second time this season.

Chris Morris provided the much-required breakthrough for his team by dismissing compatriot Faf du Plessis in the last over of Powerplay. Du Plessis, who was great touch today and was striking the ball hard, decided to up the ante in last over of Powerplay. The stylish opener tried to go big over extra cover but the aerial shot from him found the fielder and he had to return to the pavilion for 13-ball 25.

After losing Faf, Gaikwad along with Ambati Rayudu carried the momentum from there and won the game for CSK by eight wickets.
Earlier, despite losing crucial early wickets, Royal Challengers Bangalore impressed the cricket buffs this afternoon as skipper Kolhi along with ABD stitched a solid over 50 partnership for the team to help RCB post 145/6 in their allotted 20 overs.
Speaking of csk, Sam Curran and Mitchell Santner delivered some straggling bowls restricting RCB batsmen to go for maximums. S Curran specifically contributed big for the CSK by removing two major wickets with his attack. The fans may also hail Faf and Gaikwad for their brilliant fielding combination.
