CSK skipper MS Dhoni handed over the ball to Sri Lankan pacer Matheesha Pathirana who bowled some remarkable deliveries but Shahrukh Khan (2 runs in 3 balls) alongside Sikandar Raza (13 runs in 7 balls) managed to hold their nerves to seal a memorable win for Punjab. Punjab Kings are now the first team to chase a target of 200-plus against four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings at their home ground Chepauk. By virtue of this win, Punjab Kings moved to the fifth spot in IPL 2023 Points Table with 10 points, keeping the playoffs scenario competitive as ever.
