Watch: Rinku Singh Reveals He Had Written His Score On His Palms Before Start Of KKR vs RR IPL 2022 Match

Kolkata Knight Riders' Rinku Singh revealed that he had written his score on his palm before the start of KKR vs RR IPL 2022 match.

New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), on Monday, chased down a target of 153 runs against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match to end their five-match losing streak and secure their fourth win of the season. With a win over Rajasthan, not only did Kolkata avenge its previous defeat against the same side earlier in the tournament but it also kept its hopes alive of making it to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 playoffs.

For Kolkata, Rinku Singh scored an unbeaten 23-ball 42 against Rajasthan Royals. He missed out on scoring a fifty but played a key role in helping Kolkata get a much-needed win. When Rinku came out to bat, Kolkata's score was 92 for 3 in 12.5 overs and the team needed 61 runs in 43 balls.

Ultimately, Rinku's prediction about him being adjudged the player of the match award came true. The left-hander revealed that he had written his score on his palm before the start of KKR vs RR IPL 2022 match. The conversation between Rana and Rinku was shared by KKR on its official Twitter handle.

Nitish Rana asks Rinku: "What have you written (on the hands)?"

Rinku Singh replies: "I thought I would get player of the match by scoring runs today. And I wrote 50 runs on my hand."

Nitish Rana asks: "When did you write this?"

Rinku Singh reveals: "Before today's match."

Nitish Rana asks: "How did you know you will score this much today?"

Rinku Singh says: "I was waiting for a long time to get the player of the match. It came after 5 years but it came at last."
