IPL 2022: Rashid Khan Names Three Players For His 'Dream Hat-Trick'
Rashid Khan named one player each from India, Pakistan, and New Zealand who would form his "dream hat-trick". The senior spinner was part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad before joining Gujarat Titans.
New Delhi: Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan, considered one of the best spinners to ever walk on the face of the earth, has maintained a distinct identity in international cricket with his stellar bowling performances. Rashid is representing Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The senior spinner has dominated his opponents in the shortest format of the game, for the past several years.
Rashid, in his IPL career so far, has bagged 99 wickets. During this, he has made many great batters his victim. Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Afghanistan spinner named three players who would form his "dream hat-trick".
Rashid named one player each from India, Pakistan, and New Zealand for this. In response to the question asked in an interview on YouTube channel 12th Khiladi., he said, "Virat Kohli, Babar Azam, Kane Williamson."
When asked to name the toughest batters he has bowled against, Rashid picked three names -- Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, and Hardik Pandya.
Rashid Khan was part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL team before joining Gujarat Titans this season. During his time with SRH, Rashid shared the dressing room with Kane Williamson and also played under his captaincy. Rashid also has a good record against Virat Kohli.
Rashid Khan has been one of the key members of Gujarat Titans, having played in all their six matches so far. In his first match as captain in the IPL, Gujarat won. Chasing a 170-run target for the win, Rashid played an important inning of 40 runs off just 21 balls.
