IND vs WI: Virat Kohli Thanks 'Big Boss' For His Congratulatory Message

Indian skipper Virat Kohli was hailed by fans and cricketing greats for his heroic unbeaten 94-run knock against the Windies at Hyderabad

New Delhi: A fiery knock from skipper Virat Kohli (94 off 50 balls) helped team India chase down the massive 208-run target as the 'Men in Blue' attained a thrilling six-wicket win in the series opener of the three-match T20 international series on Friday. Kohli was hailed by fans and cricketing greats for his heroic unbeaten 94-run knock against the Windies. The prolific run scorer was also lauded by legendary Windies cricketer Vivian Richards, who hailed Kohli's scintillating knock. Much delighted Kohli reacted to Sir Viv Richards’ praise via a humbling tweet on social media platform twitter. Richards appreciated Kohli on Twitter, saying: "Amazing. Just amazing, Virat Kohli." Skipper Kohli responded: "Thanks big BOSS. Coming from you means a lot." Speaking after the match, Kohli had said: "I don't want to change my game too much because I play all three formats. I just want to contribute in all three formats, that's what I want to do. I don't want to be a format specialist. When you are chasing a big total, there are a lot of distractions with the scoreboard pressure. But after a few dots, the game puts you in a position where you just have to hold your shape and play the shots."
