Virat Kohli-led Team India ended their 2020 ODI season with a 13-run win over Australia in the third and final ODI of the 3-match series played at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Wednesday. India's pride saving win in the final encounter of the ODI series in the Australian capital meant that they avoided getting clean swept by the Aussies for the first time in over 2 decades. India's win at Canberra ODI came on the back of quick-fire half tons by skipper Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja backed by good spells of seam bowling by debutant T Natarajan, Shardul Thakur and Jasprit Bumrah. Seasoned opener Shikhar Dhawan had a pretty decent outing with the bat in the limited overs format, racking up 290 runs in 6 ODI games with 3 half tons. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya, both of whom had a brilliant series with the bat against the Australians, occupy the fifth and sixth spot respectively. One notable absentee from the top 5 in the run getting charts was pugnacious opener Rohit Sharma who missed out the ODI series against New Zealand and the away series versus Australia. Rohit had something to cheer about as he was one among the three Indian batsmen to record an ODI hundred this year.
