Background

Ind vs Afg Live: India and Afghanistan are all set to lock horns tonight in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021. The India vs Afghanistan T20 WC 2021 clash will take place at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi from 7.30 pm IST. Its a must-win game for team India, who are yet to win their first match in the tournament. Afghanistan has registered two wins so far. India, to keep their hopes alive of reaching the semi-finals, will have to register a win against Afghanistan tonight.

Despite resounding wins over Australia and England in the warmup games of ICC Men's T20I World Cup, team India's defeat against Pakistan and New Zealand has almost crushed their dream of winning the trophy this year.

Afghanistan's journey so far has been awesome in the World Cup - from defeating Scotland and Namibia, to pushing heavyweights Pakistan to the brink of defeat. If the Indian team  gets defeated by Afghanistan tonight, they'll get knocked out of the T20 World Cup 2021.

India and Afghanistan will face each other for the third time in T20 International.  Earlier, the match was played between India and Afghanistan in 2010 T20 World Cup and 2012 T20 World Cup. Team India won on both the occasions.
