ICC Announces Fixtures For Women's T20 World Cup 2023, Ind vs Pak On Feb 12

The eighth edition of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup will begin on 10th February 2023 and hosts South Africa will face Sri Lanka on the first day.

New Delhi: The International Council Of Cricket (ICC) on Monday released the schedule of the Women's T20 World Cup 2023 to be held in South Africa next year. The Indian women's cricket team will kick-off its T20 WC campaign on February 12 against Pakistan in Cape Town. A total of 10 teams will participate in the tournament.

The eighth edition of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup will begin on 10th February 2023 and hosts South Africa will face Sri Lanka on the first day of the tournament. Matches of the tournament will be played in Paarl and Gqebera while Cape Town will host the knockout matches.

Women's T20 World Cup 2022 final will be played on 26th February, 2023. A separate reserve day has been kept for the finals as February 27. In the tournament, India is placed in Group 2 along with Pakistan, England, West Indies and Ireland, while Group 1 includes teams from defending champions Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The group stage matches will be played till February 21. Each team will play one match against the remaining four other teams in their group. After this, the top two teams from both the groups will advance to the semi-finals.

February 12 - India v Pakistan - Cape Town

February 15 - India vs West Indies - Cape Town

February 18 - India vs England - Gqebera

February 20 - India vs Ireland - Gqebera

February 23 - Semi-Final 1- Cape Town

February 24 - Reserve Day - Cape Town

February 24 - Semi-Final 2- Cape Town

February 25 - Reserve Day - Cape Town

February 26 - Final - Cape Town

February 27 - Reserve Day - Cape Town
