Even though the transfer was confirmed by Neymar himself on Friday, an official confirmation from the club still awaited the fans, but now the wait is over, as Brazil can cherish their 'Idolo' back in the country.

Neymar Jr. posted a video on 'X', stating he 'needs a club likes Santos FC to make preparations' and that, 'playing football is what he loves the most'.

"Hey guys, feels like I'm going back in time. I am her with my friends and family, and they helped me to write a few things. I just can't hold it until tomorrow. My family and my friends already know my decision. I will sign the contract with Santos FC. I want to thank my fans from all over the world, wishing for this moment to come true for a long time," said Neymar Jr.

"It's been nearly 12 years since I left the club, the most famous 'Vila' in the world, and it seems like yesterday. My feelings for the club and fans have never changed. I loved wonderful moments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia welcomed me in a surreal way, not only me, but my family as well," said the Brazilian.

"I was very happy here and I will take these memories with me for the rest of my life. But I suffered a very serious injury that prevented me from returning the favour the way I would like to. I will be rooting for the success of the FIFA World Cup 2034. The Saudi people deserve it, and I want to be there," he added.

"I am thankful for all your support, even in my most difficult moments, and there were a lot of them. Playing football, doing is what I love most in my life. That's what makes me happy. Very happy to be here at Santos FC again, writing the honorary words again, only few people have experienced it. May god bless and protect us," he concluded.
