Farmers' Protest: Irfan Pathan Takes A Sly Dig At 'Foreign Interference' Tweets By Celebs

Unlike other current and former players, instead of tweeting in favour of the government, Irfan Pathan has seemingly taken a dig at the ongoing controversy over 'outside interference' in internal matters of India.

International pop star Rihanna has been in the news ever since her controversial tweet on the ongoing farmers' movement in the national capital.Ever since Rihanna tweet in support of the farmers' movement went viral, many prominent personalities including cricketers have given their reactions over the movement and have shown absolute support for the Indian government.

Star players like Sachin Tendulkar, Indian captain Virat Kohli, Anil Kumble, Indian team coaches Ravi Shastri, Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan have also expressed their views about the farmers' movement.

However, unlike other current and former players, instead of tweeting in favour of the government, veteran Irfan Pathan has seemingly taken a dig at the ongoing controversy over 'outside interference' in internal matters of India.

“When George Floyd was brutally murdered in the USA by a policeman,our country rightly expressed our grief. #justsaying,” wrote Irfan Pathan.
