Did You Know? These Five Indian Cricketers Celebrate Their Birthdays On December 6

Team India: Out of the 5 players who are celebrating their birthdays today, 3 are currently part of Team India, while one player has retired. It also includes a batsman who is an emerging star.  

New Delhi: December 6 is a very special day for Indian cricket because 5 cricketers celebrate their birthdays on this day. It is surprising but true. Team India's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, pacer Jasprit Bumrah and batsman Shreyas Iyer all celebrate their birthdays today. Apart from these, veteran cricketer RP Singh, who has made a significant contribution to Indian cricket and Karun Nair, who is making a mark in domestic cricket, also celebrate their birthdays today i.e on December 6. All these Indian players have achieved many amazing feats in their careers.

Former fast bowler RP Singh is celebrating his 36th birthday today. He was part of the national team that won the T20 World Cup in 2007. One of his career highlights is him taking 12 wickets in seven matches during that World Cup. The star paceman had decided to retire from all forms of cricket in September 2018.  

Ravindra Jadeja

Team India's star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja turned 33 today. He was unable to play Ind vs NZ 2nd Test in Mumbai after sustaining injury during the first test match against New Zealand. He is currently one of most important player in the national team and is performing well in all formats of the game.  

Jasprit Bumrah

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah celebrates his 28th Birthday today. In the last few years, he has become one of the best bowlers in the world. After the T20 World Cup, he was rested for New Zealand tour of India. The speedster will make comeback in the upcoming India's tour of South Africa.

Shreyas Iyer

Young batsman Shreyas Iyer, who scored a century in the first innings and half-century in the second innings of his debut Test match (India vs New Zealand 1st Test) at Kanpur, is celebrating his 27th birthday today. Iyer has proved his batting talent in the IPL as well.

Karun Nair

Karun Nair, who made a unique record by scoring a triple century while playing for Karnataka in domestic cricket, is celebrating his 30th birthday today. He has won many matches for his team in many home series and Ranji Trophy.
