With the return of Suresh Raina as well as Moin Ali, Krishnappa Gautam and Cheteshwar Pujara, CSK has many options to choose from for today's Playing XI. Apart from these players, the experience of Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, Faf du Plessis and Ambati Rayudu can be of great use for the team.

Young batsman Rituraj Gaikwad showcased his talent to the world by scoring more than 200 runs in six matches of IPL 2020. Sam Curran also performed well both with the bat and ball for CSK, last year. This year too, Chennai will heavily rely on these two players.

In today's match, Rituraj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis might open for CSK. After this, Suresh Raina, who missed last year's IPL, will most likely bat at number three. Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni are set to play at number four and five.

The responsibility of fast bowling will rest on the shoulders of Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar. Apart from these two, Sam Curran and Dwayne Bravo's bowling in the death overs can come handy for CSK. At the same time, command of the spin department will remain in the hands of Moin Ali and Ravindra Jadeja.

CSK's Predicted Playing XI: Rituraj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni (captain and wicket-keeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Moin Ali, Sam Karran, Dwayne Bravo, Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur.
