World Cup 2019: Malinga to return home briefly following Bangladesh match
Veteran Malinga is expected to join the team, before the team’s next World Cup game, which will be played against Australia on 15th.

Ahead of their important WC 2019 clash against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka Cricket Board took to Twitter to confirm that Sri Lanka star speedster Lasith Malinga will leave the team following Sri Lanka’s World Cup Game against Bangladesh, which will be played today, as his Mother-In-Law has passed away.
Malinga is expected to join the team, before the team’s next World Cup game, which will be played against Australia on 15th.
The Lankan Lions are already missing the services of pacer Nuwan Pradeep, who was the architect of their win against Afghanistan, claiming four wickets for 31 runs. In his absence, the onus is on veteran pacer Lasith Malinga to guide the side to victory against Bangladesh.
