WATCH: Kohli's perfect reply to Broad for his abusive send-off to Rishabh Pant

“Bolta reh jo bolna hai, Achhi baat hai (keep on saying what you want, it's good)” – these were the words uttered by Virat Kohli to English pacer Stuart Broad on the fourth day of the Nottingham Test. Moreover, it was a reply from the Indian skipper to the English speedster’s unceremonious send-off to debutant Rishabh Pant on the second day of the play.
The Kohli-Broad chattering happened on the on the fourth day of the Nottingham Test. India needed just two wickets to wrap-up the business while Broad and Adil Rashid were at the crease. Though it’s yet to be known who sparked this situation, as per the video doing rounds on social media, Kohli fired the opening shot.
“Bolta reh jo bolna hai, Achhi baat hai (keep on saying what you want, it's good).” To which Broad replies, “That's aggressive”.
And, then Kohli is seen quickly reminding the Englishman, "That's what you get for having a go at the youngster (Rishabh Pant)".
With a broad smile on his face, the England seamer was heard replying: "It's Test cricket man. It's aggressive. That's aggressive Virat".

Soon after this incident, Broad’s innings came to an end as Jasprit Bumrah sent him back to the dressing room.
The next day India won the match by 203 runs while Broad was fined with 15 per cent match fees for mocking Pant and also got slapped with one demerit point by ICC.
Broad was found to have breached Article 2.1.7 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batsman upon his/her dismissal during an International Match."
