WATCH: Tim Paine sledges Rishabh pant, trolls him for getting dropped from ODIs
Since Pant hasn’t found himself in the squad, the Australia captain sledged Pant over his axing and asked him whether he would be interested in playing for the Hobart Hurricanes in the ongoing Big Bash League
Australian captain Tim Paine continued his chirping and chatting while keeping the wicket during the third day of the Boxing Day Test. Probably he turned excited after a furious spell from Pat Cummins which seriously jolted the Indian top order. And once Rishabh Pant came in to bat, he faced some funny banter from the Aussie skipper.
Paine wanted to distract the young Indian wicketkeeper and trolled him over MS Dhoni's return to the ODI side. Since Pant hasn’t found himself in the squad, the Australia captain sledged Pant over his axing and asked him whether he would be interested in playing for the Hobart Hurricanes in the ongoing Big Bash League.
“Tell you what big MS is back in the one-day squad. Should get this bloke down to Hurricanes.. They need a batter.
Fancy that extend you Aussie holiday, beautiful town Hobart too... get him a waterfront apartment”
“Have him over for dinner.”
“Do you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids,” said Paine and the entire conversation was captured by the stump mic.

Earlier on the second day, Paine tried to distract Rohit Sharma while he was on strike.
During the 139th over, the Australian skipper was heard chatting with Finch who was fielding at the short leg position. Nathan Lyon was bowling to Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane was at the non-striker's end. While the HITMAN was at the strike, they began talking about the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, which are captained by Rohit and Rahane respectively.
“There is a toss-up between (Rajasthan) Royals and (Mumbai) Indians for me. If Rohit hits a six here, I am changing to Mumbai,” Paine’s voice was heard on the stumps mic.
