In the funny video, Dhoni urged the fans to enjoy the funny banter between the batsman and bowler as he recalled his school days. The batsman in the video can be seen refusing to accept his dismal on the very first ball, saying that "first ball is fun trial ball". However, the bowler got him dismissed in the very next ball for which he blamed the ''bad light". "Wen U know what's coming and start the camera and u get it in the nxt 1min, sorry for the bad light but it's the lingo that's fun trial ball, umpires decision last decision. brings back memory from school days. he wd have never accepted this ever happened if v didn't have this video. all of us have witnessed this at some point of time in cricket. enjoy," Dhoni captioned the video.

After completing his stint with the Territorial Army (106 Bn Parachute) regiment in the Kashmir Valley, Dhoni finally returned to his hometown Ranchi. After making himself unavailable for selection for the 3-match T20 series against South Africa, Dhoni has decided to give the upcoming Bangaldesh T20Is a miss as well. To see Dhoni back in the blue jersey, fans have to now wait until the ODI and T20I series against West Indies, starting December 6. Recently, former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar opined that team Indian should start looking beyond Dhoni as ‘his time is up’. “Dhoni’s time is up. With due respect, the time has come. India should look beyond. With the greatest of respect to Dhoni, I think he should be going without being pushed out,” Gavaskar was quoted as saying by India Today.
