During the IPL 2024 Auction proceedings, one of the fans asked about Rohit Sharma’s role in the franchise. Mumbai Indians owner Akash Ambani responded to that question with a witty remark that echoed across social media platforms. Mumbai Indians shared a video on their social media handles where Akash said, “Chinta Mat karo, vo batting karega (Do not worry, he will bat)”.

Talking about the auction, fans witnessed many historic moments including Australia’s Mitchell Starc sealing a marquee deal with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for a staggering Rs 24.75 crores. Pat Cummins also got Rs 20 crore from Sunrisers Hyderabad to take part in the upcoming edition of the IPL.
