Delhi Ranji Trophy Probables: Virat Kohli, the star India batter, could return to play Ranji Trophy for Delhi in the 2024-25 season. If it happens, this will be the first time in 12 years that Kohli will ply his trade for India's premier first-class cricket competition. Kohli last played for Delhi in the 2012-13 season of Ranji Trophy. Post that, Kohli's name was included in the Delhi squad for the 2019-20 season, however, he did not play. However, it is now being learnt that the right-handed batter could return to the red-ball tournament after 12 years.

Speculation over Kohli's possible return to Ranji Trophy has started after the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) announced an 84-member probabes. The shortlist contains the name of Rishabh Pant and Harshit Rana along with Kohli but the name of Ishant Sharma is missing, perhaps hinting at the end of the road for the senior speedster.
