IND vs PAK WCL 2024 Final: India's Vinay Kumar and Pakistan's Sohaib Maqsood were involved in an intense on-field battle as the Kumar gave Maqsood a cold stare after claiming his wicket. WATCH below:

India Champions defeated Pakistan Champions by five wickets in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024 final at the Edgbaston in Birmingham on July 13 (Saturday). Led by Yuvraj Singh, India peaked at the right time in the tournament and defeated Australia in the semifinals and followed it up with a win against arch-rivals Pakistan in the final. In a match featuring former players from India and Pakistan sides facing off, fans witnessed a tense moment when India bowler Vinay Kumar gave a cold stare to Pakistan batter Sohaib Maqsood.

In the high-voltage IND vs PAK final, Vinay Kumar came in to bowl his first over in the first innings of the match. On just his second delivery, the right-arm seamer was greeted with a big strike by Sohaib Maqsood, who created space and lofted the ball over point for a maximum.

Maqsood then pulled Vinay Kumar for a boundary on the very next ball of the same over. However, Vinay Kumar had the last laugh as he dismissed Maqsood on the next delivery, who was caught by Rahul Shukla at deep square leg. After taking the wicket, Vinay Kumar expressed his delight by giving Maqsood a death stare as the batter walked back to the dressing room. The video of this moment has since gone viral on social media.

India Cruise To A Comfortable Victory Against Pakistan In WCL 2024 Final

Coming to the India vs Pakistan WCL 2024 final match, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Kamran Akmal, Sohaib Maqsood and Shoaib Malik helped Pakistan to 156-6 in 20 overs. India’s Anureet Singh shone with the ball as he claimed three wickets.

Chasing the total, Ambati Rayudu scored a 30-ball fifty giving India a solid start. Gurkeerat Singh Mann and Yusuf Pathan too contributed with 34 and 30-run knocks respectively and India chased the target comfortably in 19.1 overs, winning the WCL 2024 final by five wickets.
