The Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) will take on the St Lucia Zouks in the CPL 2020 finals on Thursday, September 10, that will take place at the Brian Lara Cricket stadium. Momentum and form both are with TKR who have won all the group stage games but anything can happen in a T20 final. TKR are outright favorites to win the CPL 2020 final against St Lucia Zouks as they have a power packed lineup in Simmons, Bravo Brothers and Pollard. St Lucia Zouks are not fans favs at the moment but have done well with the bat and ball so far in the tournament with Sammy, Chase and Kersick Williams in their side. They have a good opening pair and rest of the batting squad looks settled as well. Zouks being led by Sammy had finished third in the round Robin stage with six wins in 10 games. They defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by 10 wickets in the semis.
St Lucia Zouks lost both their round robin games to TKR earlier in the league and so they will be under pressure in the finals. Zouks have never won the CPL title and will be chasing their maiden one. On the other hand, Trinbago Knight Riders are eyeing their 4th title as they enter the CPL 2020 final with a 11 match winning streak in the T20 tournament. They had beaten Jamaic Tallawahs by 9 wickets in the semis.
